Our Mission

We are the guardians of our stories. // First and foremost, our
goal is to record stories of Indian-Americans, old and new, in order
to be shared within the Indian-American community and also within
mainstream media. To do both, we will create
programs/projects/installations/art/events based on and inspired by
the stories we collect. We will collaborate with larger mainstream
institutions (StoryCorps, museums, foundations) in order to present
our work. Technology will factor prominently in how we
engage the community to collect stories as well as in how we disseminate
projects we create.
